Wii Sports Resort has passed its first million sold in Europe, a figure reached in about a month (was launched for sale in our region last July 24). In fact, the game reached its first million in Japan recently, and one in the U.S., as global ales suv already exceed three million copies sold.
Moreover, Europe has sold 936,000 Wii MotionPlus accessory separately since its launch in June, significantly higher than the U.S..
"These early sales data represent a strong start for Wii Sports Resort, which is poised to become another Nintendo title that sells consistently over a long period of time," said Laurent Fischer, marketing director for Nintendo Europe.
