"Tomorrow morning (today - red) in the Circuit Fiorano, Felipe Massa will again be behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car," he said Ferrari in his official statement quoted by Autosport.
"This is not an actual test session and watching the stopwatch is not the agenda. There is plenty of time for the year 2010, when he would start developing the new car along with Fernando Alonso," said Ferrari.
2009 live season leaving two more series: at Interlagos, Brazil, October 18 and in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on November 1. Massa, who was injured in the Hungarian GP practice, certainly not coming down in two series.
"This test is simply the opportunity for Felipe to renew their identification with the natural environment, ie a race track. He will race a few laps with the F2007," added Ferrari statement.
Though certainly not going to come down in two rounds remaining, Massa will take part in the Brazilian Grand Prix next week. 28-year driver will be pengibar flag or a chequered flag finish.
